* Introduction and Improvisational exercises
Creating comaraderie, have fun acting, introduction to the art of acting
* Who Am I? - Character development
Students will learn how to choose and develop a character and how to bring a character into their own world.
* Scene Study - Working together
Students will learn the art of acting (and reacting) with others in a scene. Wonderful tools for working together as well as dissecting a scene effectively. Tools to help making the relationship between you and a partner believable.
* Living In It (Becoming a character & How to ‘live’ on a set)
Learn why it's important to know the space that you're acting in, and learn how to adapt taht space as your own.
* Self Speak (Delivering the perfect monologue)
Students will learn valuable techniques for choosing and developing the 'perfect' monologue.
* Camera vs. Stage: What’s the Difference? (Learning the difference between camera acting and live stage acting)
* Fine-tuning (choose your focus)
Each semester ends with an opportunity for the students to show their families what they’ve learned.

Tuesdays 5:00pm—6:30pm

Advance Registration: $10.00
PRIVATE LESSONS AVAILABLE
If you or your child needs to prepare for a specific audition, role or other acting opportunity, you can have a private lesson to fine-tune and work on a specific area.
